Our Festivals

The Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence organizes annual festivals in cooperation with a large number of federal, local and private agencies, and they include community, artistic and knowledge activities and events, aiming to raise awareness of the importance of tolerance, peaceful coexistence and acceptance of the other, and to celebrate the state’s peace, acquaintance and harmony.

National Festival of Tolerance

Tolerance is embedded in the DNA of UAE society. In line with the mission of the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence to spread the message of tolerance, the Festival seeks to highlight and encourage its values to all. 

Eshraqat

Eshraqat is a unique learning initiative in terms of its messaging, its goals, objectives and its activities. This learning platform is reflective of the fact that tolerance is aquired through knowledge and learning. Values of tolerance represented in knowing one another through dialogue, mutual respect, diversity and pluralism and peaceful coexistence, all become possible through knowledge development and learning.

Hay Abu Dhabi

Hay Festival Abu Dhabi brought writers and readers together for conversation and new ideas. From 25 to 28 February 2020, 99 internationally acclaimed writers and performers from 20 countries gathered together for four days of entertainment and inspiration

FESTIVAL OF HUMAN FRATERNITY

The Declaration of Human Fraternity came to life in the capital city of Abu Dhabi on the 4th of February, 2019 when it was signed by His Highness Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, and His Holiness Pop Francis, Pope of Catholic Church.
